Their dashboard is easy to navigate, and everything from renewals to DNS settings feels smooth and beginner-friendly. It’s one of those tools I don’t have to think twice about, it just works.
WP Rocket
With Lyrical Host, I don’t really need a performance plugin thanks to their built-in StackCache, which I manage easily through WordPress. I pair it with Autoptimize for an extra boost. That said, I did use WP Rocket for a year to test it (even had StackCache turned off) properly, and it worked brilliantly. It’s still one of the best plugins for caching and speed, keeping sites fast, smooth, and user-friendly.

These are the trusty tools that make my blogging (and traveling) life easier — from my Microsoft Surface Pro for writing on the go to my Sony Alpha a7 III for capturing stories in pixels. Every little gadget here earns its space in my bag by keeping things smooth, efficient, and creative.
Laptop
A good laptop is the heart of a blogger’s life: writing posts, editing photos, managing websites, planning content, handling administrative work, all happen here. I use a Microsoft Surface Pro 7, an Apple MacBook Pro, and a Dell XPS 13, depending on my location and the task at hand. They’re all lightweight, powerful, and travel-friendly, making them perfect for working from home, at airports, on small Airbnb desks, or in cafes.
Laptop Stand

My Work From Home Setup
While my laptops travel with me, my desktop setup at home is where I feel most grounded and focused. It’s where the big writing days, heavy edits, and blog planning sessions happen. A proper desk, an ergonomic chair (because blogging comfort matters), and an external monitor make all the difference, less glamorous, but definitely more productive. At the heart of it is my Apple iMac: pretty, practical, and perfect for keeping things running smoothly. I also use an Aothia leather desk protector, large enough to fit my keyboard, mouse, phone, and more. It keeps my workspace clean and clutter-free, and makes working feel smoother and more intentional. Plus, it looks beautiful alongside my iMac. Additionally, I use a mouse pad with wrist support, because comfort and coordination matter: a small detail, but a big difference (and my wrists are quietly very grateful).

Digital or Physical Planner
I’ve tried both, and truth be told, I can’t pick a side. Some days, I’m scribbling furiously into a notebook with chai stains and dog-eared corners. On other days, I’m dragging and dropping blog post ideas on my iPad while curled up in bed, pretending to be organized. The physical journal feels grounding. There’s something about writing with a real pen that makes ideas feel more real, like they’ve made it past the filter of overthinking. My go-to for this is the Leuchtturm1917, which is sturdy, minimal, and handles highlighters like a champ. I also adore Papier’s customized ones because of their aesthetic. But on the go or during late-night “my brain just gave me an entire blog post” moments, my iPad saves me. Goodnotes is where I brain-dump, plan my week, and color-code my chaos. If you’re a blogger, especially a multi-tasking, idea-juggling one, having both might be your sweet spot. Pen for the poetry. Screen for the structure. And if you love planners that feel so you, Etsy has the quirkiest digital templates and handmade journals you never knew you needed.
Surge Protector
I never thought I’d care this much about a surge protector until I fried a charger during a trip and mourned it like I’d lost a limb. Now, I don’t travel or work without one. A surge protector with USB ports is that underrated MVP every blogger needs, especially if you’re a digital nomad, a hotel-hopper, or someone who works from the kitchen table one day and the balcony the next. I’m currently using the One Beat, which is compact, reliable, and doesn’t hog all the plug space like a diva. Belkin makes great ones, too, especially the ones with braided cords that actually last.
And if you want something cute for your desk setup or Etsy aesthetic, yes, even surge protectors can be pretty. There are plenty of USB hub options on Etsy that blend in with your vibe instead of clashing with it.
